Something like a tomato gnocchi (Algo parecido a ñoquis de tomate)
Gastronomía y Cía is one of my favorite cuisine blogs.The 6th of May they published a recipe of pasta made with potatoes and tomato and immediately I decided to make it, or to try to make it.
With my daughter Isabel´s help, we made this absolutely tasty and savoury recipe. If you check out the original recipe you´ll see that they made some really nice balls. I can assure you that we tried to make little and nice balls, but when we put them in the boiling water they got deformed. Even so they look great
Ingredients:
8´5 Ounces ( 240g) of boiled potatoes
2´6 Ounces (75g) of wheat flour with baking power
0´7 ounces (20g) of tomato powder
1 egg of about 2 ounces (55-60g)
1´8 ounces (50g) of water
Black and white pepper and salt

Some dried basil
Put the boiled potatoes in a bowl add the salt, the pepper, the dried basil and the tomato powder. I didn´t have tomato powder so I used tomato concentrate and I added less water at the end. Puree it. Add the water, the flour and the egg. Mix all the ingredients together. The paste obtained must be a little doughy.
Flour your hands . Make little balls with the paste and cook them in boiling water. They are cooked when they get to the water surface. Then take them from the water and strain them
Drizzle with good olive oil, grated cheese and some oregano
